Hello, My name is John Stadvec. I have lived in Ardsley Pennsylvania for seven years. I moved here after serving 14 years in The US Navy. I am a concerned parent and taxpayer.
I have two daughters who attend Copper Beech Elementary School
My oldest daughter went from being a five year honor roll student to barely passing her classes, while my kindergartener gets lost staring at a computer for seven hours a day five days a week.
Throughout my 14 year career, I served in an active warzone twice as well as having lived and traveled in both friendly and hostile environments.
I will bring real world experience and first hand knowledge of conflict resolution to the position of School Board as I will:
- put students before politics
- work for the PARENTS and TAXPAYERS of Ardsley Pennsylvania
- work to not raise school taxes
- support an uninterrupted in person Five Day School Week
- seek solutions to the conundrum of a SIX YEAR Mandarin Chinese course and ELIMINATE the LOTTERY SYSTEM that is in place for this course. I will fight for any student who wishes to attend this class. I wish to add American Sign Language to the secondary language course offerings.
I hope to be your voice on the School Board.
