- Abington Middle School $285 Million Bond Referendum
- Abington School Board has authorized a $285M bond referendum to cover the cost of building a new middle school and razing the existing school building. All of this spending is for facilities and infrastructure and none will be used for educational improvements. Abington household taxes will increase starting as early as July 2026 and run for 40 years to cover the bond, this is in addition the the typical annual increase.
