Ward 2 — MUST WRITE-IN FOR PRIMARYI am a retired mechanical engineer and 27-year resident of Abington Township, and I am running for township commissioner in Ward 2 as a write-in candidate. As a township commissioner, I would serve the community by focusing on fiscal responsibility to wisely spend your hard-earned tax dollars.
In addition, as Abington is an older close-in suburb of Philadelphia, I would work to ensure that the township maintains its unique suburban character by maintaining primarily single-family zoning and discouraging high density housing which would eventually overwhelm the existing infrastructure.

I was born and raised in Abington township and have been a resident of North Hills for over 40 years. Together with my husband, Paul, we raised four children here. I’ve been working in education for forty years.

Ward 10 — MUST WRITE-IN FOR PRIMARYI am a lifelong resident of Abington and a graduate of Abington High School and currently serve as a Ward 10 Committeewoman. I have served as an Ammunition Specialist in the U.S. Army and have previously held the position of treasurer for the Bux-Mont Women’s Veterans organization.
I am committed to:
— Opposing mid to high-rise high-density housing.
— Strengthening the relationship between the community and police.
— Taking a proactive approach to traffic safety.
